Add Team Members or Users to a Project

With our latest update, you can now invite a new team member into both your Essenvia account and current project at the same time by following these steps:

  1. Click on the "Team" tab at the top of your Project Manager dashboard

  2. Click the blue "Share" Button on the upper right hand side of the screen on the Team screen
  3. Select Can Edit or Can Comment or Can View from the drop down, then press **share** .
  4. They'll receive an email with a link to sign in and join your project.
    • If the person is a non-existing user on Essenvia they will be invited to activate their account.
    • If the person is an existing user, they will be invited to sign in using their user id and password.
  5. The user that is invited will receive an email to join the project and once they accept, their Invitation Status will change to "Accepted" from "Pending"

Remove members

  • Go to Spaces from the Home page and then click on the **Projects** menu.
  • Click on a project and then click on **Team** menu.
  • Click on the menu on the right side of the team member row and click **Remove** .
  • Click **Remove**on the modal window to confirm.
  • Team member is removed from the Space and access to all the artifacts in the Space are removed for the user.

Change role of a member

  • Go to Spaces from the Home page and then click on the **Projects** menu.
  • Click on a project and then click on **Team** menu.
  • Click on the menu on the right side of the team member row and click **Change role** .
  • Select the role to be changed to and click **Save**.
  • Member’s access to the project and all the artifacts in project is changed based on the role selected.
    • If the member is not logged in and logs in after the role is changed, user will see the updated access to the project

    • If the member is logged in and the role is changed from Can view or Can comment to Can Edit , member’s UI will still have viewer or commenter access and team member has to log out and login to start editing.

    • If the member is logged in and the role is changed from Can Editto Can view , or Can comment member’s UI will still have Can edit access and artifacts will be editable.

      But member won’t be able to save any data and will get the below error message on editing any information.
